Clara Asiamah Ampofowaa

Clara was born on the 7th of April 2015. She joined the school in December 2022. Clara and Clan are siblings.

Clan Baidu Emmanuel

Clan was born on the 29th of September 2016. He joined the school in December 2022.

How You Can Support

By donating to the FAB Foundation, you will be buying stationary, toiletries, material for their school uniforms and learning resources for the two children.

You can either choose to donate to the siblings or to the school in general by specifying on the donation form.

The School

The Ashanti School for the Deaf in the Ashanti region was established in Ghana in 1977 in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare to enhance the quality of life for the deaf and the socially disadvantaged youth. The school is managed by seven board of directors and a Centre Manager appointed by the Department of Social Welfare.

The school mainly serves the Ashanti Region, but they do have some students from other regions in Ghana. The school has approximately 500 students who all live at the school.
